Australian Veterans For Peace
is a group of veterans opposed any involvement of our military personnel in wars on foreign soil, non-Australian waters, or non-Australian airspace, unless Australia is under direct military attack by a sovereign nation. We support only nonviolent solutions to conflict resolution worldwide. We oppose the mis-use of Australian Defence Force personnel. We stand for a world peace achieved through nonviolent interventions.
World Peace Council
is an anti-imperialist, democratic, independent and non-aligned international movement of mass action. It is an integral part of the world peace movement and acts in cooperation with other international and national movements. The WPC is the largest International Peace structure, based in more than 100 countries.

Established to show the world what the Australian Government is doing to it's people without care for their safety. It has been built by concerned volunteers from the Port Stephens area.
The Palm Sunday Committee
was the first Palm Sunday parade a celebration or a protest? Whatever clerics may have decided, the popular imagination clearly attaches great significance to the protest viewpoint. Witness the vast numbers that have paraded at such events as the Palm Sunday peace marches (the 1985 one in Sydney had an estimated 170,000 people and the Corroboree 2000 walk across the Harbour Bridge in Sydney. Similar walks in other places at the same time attracted vast crowds.

MAPW - Australia Medical Assocation for the Prevention of War
was founded in 1981. It is the Australian affiliate of International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW). This international federation has affiliates in over 60 countries. IPPNW World Congresses bring thousands of physicians, scientists, world leaders, and activists together to share new scientific information on IPPNW issues and to express their common commitment to ending nuclearism and militarism.

Arctic Circle: "National Missile Defense" :
is a unilateral, one-country plan and not multi-lateral. Because it violates the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty between Russia and the USA, I fear that other non-proliferation agreements may fall as well. And then we will be back in a very dangerous Cold War situation again, except with many more players eager to join this new race.
